Workers Willing to Change Employers for Better Retirement Benefits
A recent survey conducted by ADP Canada found that the majority of Canadians across the country would leave their jobs for improved retirement benefits with another employer. Some of the most notable findings:
- 77% of Canadian employees would leave their jobs for better retirement support
- 88% of respondents in British Columbia would leave their job for better pension or retirement support elsewhere
- 78% of millennial employees would be willing to change employers if better retirement programs were available
While most companies review salaries and wages to ensure they are competitive, many forget about other compensation factors, including retirement programs. In order to remain competitive, employers should pay attention to what is important to their employees as well as what is being offered by their competitors.
